Boot Room 
Soccer Camps
 AYSA is hosting The Boot Room Soccer Camp  May 17 and 18.   
Players can participate in an intensive three-hour training session on either Saturday or Sunday. Better yet, sign up for both Saturday and Sunday sessions at a reduced price. The Saturday session will focus on individual skills, while Sunday's session will use small sided games to build technique. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 9-15.

Upper Division Coaches Meeting

AYSA is hosting a meeting for all coaches of Spring 2008 Upper Division Recreational teams.
Schedules, player passes, rules manuals and more will be handed out at this meeting.  A representative from each Upper Division Recreational team must attend this meeting. 
 
To get to Morgan Park Middle School: From the east take Grand Avenue to the Morgan Park entrance (Arbor Street, a few blocks past the Grand Ave. Spirit Mountain Field at 85th West).  Turn left on Arbor Street, which becomes 88th West (the main drag of Morgan Park), and follow to the school. 
 
AYSA College Scholarship
 Arrowhead Youth Soccer will be awarding  college scholarships of $500 each to two graduating high school seniors.  Students must have participated in AYSA or a similar soccer program during their youth.  Deadline for applications is May 30, 2008.  Winners will be notified in late summer and dollars will be paid directly to the student upon succesful completion of the Fall term.  Questions may be directed to Dave Geary, 218-624-1713 or This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
 
Test Your Soccer Skills!
KICK OFF YOUR SUMMER SOCCER
AND TEST YOUR BALL SKILLS WITH THE AYSA SOCCER SKILLS COMPETITION!
Boys and girls ages 8-14 are invited to a soccer skills competition on May 31 from 2 – 4 PM at Public Schools Stadium, 4405 West Fourth Street, Duluth.  Kids compete in a variety of soccer skills including: Target Practice, The Obstacle Course, Slalom Soccer, Air Dribble and other fun and challenging soccer games.
Medals will be awarded at each age group and event.  This competition is free of charge, but you must register in advance using the form available by clicking here.  Please return this form to AYSA, 3501 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN  55807
Want to help?  Volunteer a team (four or more players and at least one adult) to run a skills event.
